This café is a part of the art space called "3331 Arts Chiyoda" located in Tokyo. These days in Japan, indoor space is usually separated with smoking from non-smoking area. In this café, the glass-showcase called "Art-duct" takes its part. Inside of the showcase is kept positive pressure and fresh air is provided through the numbers of little holes of the glass wall. People can touch the artworks in the showcase from both sides, yet the smoke cannot penetrate the interface. |
