木造２階建て住宅の改修である。母屋の改修に加えて、水廻りなどが納まった“離れ”の新築を行った。“離れ”は母屋と山で四周を囲まれ、陽の光が入りにくい敷地であった。そこで、母屋と離れの間にデッキ状の廊下を配し、トップライトを付けることで採光を確保できるよう計画している。母屋に寄り添う“離れ”の付かず離れない配置が、明るい水廻り空間をつくっている。

It is the renovation of the 2 stories timber house. Refreshing the living space and re-building annex (bathroom and 2restrooms) is main content. Annex was forced to be settled in south area of the main house, so it is planed smaller as possible and adjoined a top light between two buildings to put the daylight in the main house.
